There's Treasure Everywhere July 03, 2004 - 3:40 P.M. A good friend of mine sent me a graduation party (which I did not attend, for whatever reason) invitation a few weeks ago with the following poem. I don't know if it suits me or not, but I do enjoy it, and do find it at least somewhat fitting.
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And so I'm ending The Antisthenes Chronicles; I like to think I had a good run, nearly two years of introspection and mundane daily happenings with at least a bit of humor thrown in here and there. There is a show tonight, the likes of which I am not sure I will attend. I was going to write in this after I had decided, and end it on either a high note or a low one, but I feel that I would much rather leave it open-ended. I am not sure if I will attend this show, but if I do, it will surely be a mark of my ability to interact and enjoy myself in public settings, which seems certainly to be a good thing. Thus ends The Antisthenes Chronicles. Remember kids, there's treasure everywhere: you just have to know how to find it!
