There's Treasure Everywhere

A good friend of mine sent me a graduation party (which I did not attend, for whatever reason) invitation a few weeks ago with the following poem. I don't know if it suits me or not, but I do enjoy it, and do find it at least somewhat fitting.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as a I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:

I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference

And so I'm ending The Antisthenes Chronicles; I like to think I had a good run, nearly two years of introspection and mundane daily happenings with at least a bit of humor thrown in here and there.

There is a show tonight, the likes of which I am not sure I will attend. I was going to write in this after I had decided, and end it on either a high note or a low one, but I feel that I would much rather leave it open-ended. I am not sure if I will attend this show, but if I do, it will surely be a mark of my ability to interact and enjoy myself in public settings, which seems certainly to be a good thing.

Thus ends The Antisthenes Chronicles. Remember kids, there's treasure everywhere: you just have to know how to find it!
